V Raju assumes charge as BSNL Tamil Nadu Circle CGM

CHENNAI: V Raju on Wednesday took over as the new chief general manager of BSNL's Tamil Nadu Circle, covering the entire state except Chennai, Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur districts.

He succeeds R Marshal Antony Leo, who was superannuated on Tuesday.

According to an official statement, Raju belongs to the 1983 batch of Indian Telecom Service. He has served as the principal general manager in Trichy and Guwahati, chief general manager in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, general manager in Tirunelveli and joint deputy director general at BSNL Corporate Office in New Delhi.

Raju did his B Tech in electronics engineering at Anna University in Chennai.
