Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has increased the daily benefit of prepaid combo plans and 3G Data STVs by 2GB. Users will now get an additional 2GB data above its existing plan. Under this plan, the state-run telecom operator's combo plans of Rs 999, Rs 666, Rs 485, Rs 429 and Rs 186 will offer 2GB daily data. Also, the above benefits will be applicable on the 3G Data STV plans of Rs 448, Rs 444, Rs 333, Rs 349 and Rs 187, said a telecomtalks.info report.

“BSNL would launch 5G services the same day as their launch globally. India would not miss the 5G bus unlike the past instances of global adoption of 3G and 4G,” Anil Jain said at the inaugural edition of the Mobile Device Summit 2018, hosted by industry body The Mobile Association.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd could end up launching 5G services as early as the first half of 2019, going by comments made by a senior official at an industry forum today.
Speaking at the Mobile Device Summit 2018 organized by ‘The Mobile Association’, Anil Jain, the company’s Chief General Manager in charge of New Generation Networks promised there would be no delay in the launch of 5G like it happened with 3G and 4G.
