BSNL Rs 299 broadband plan with 45GB data, cashback offer launched

BSNL has launched its new broadband plan for Rs 299 that offers 45GB data per month with a download speed of 8Mbps along with unlimited STD voice calls to other BSNL numbers within the country. The telecommunication company will also provide its customers with Rs 50 cashback every month for the first 6 months of activation.


The plan has been referred as “Experience Unlimited Broadband 299” that provides customers with unlimited voice calls between 10:30 pm to 6 am except for Sundays where the unlimited voice calls would be available all through the day to any other networks. Other than this, the calls for non-BSNL networks would be charged from an amount of Rs 300 that is provided under the plan. The subscriber will also get an email ID with 1GB storage space.

Based on the BSNL Twitter handle, it has announced a separate plan for landline users that comes for the same amount of Rs 299 per month with an unlimited local and STD calls. This plan does not include any installation charges. According to this plan, customers will get 1.5GB data per day and a FUP limit of 1Mbps. Hence, in case the users exceed the daily limits, they can have access to the internet at a speed of 1Mbps.

The new BSNL broadband plan comes with a subscription period of at least one month and customers who opt for the plan will be required to pay a security deposit of Rs 500. Furthermore, it also offers the facility to buy the annual plan for Rs 3,289 and Rs 6,279 for two years and Rs 8,970 for three years. As per BSNL’s official website, the new plan is available in all regions of India except for Jammu and Kashmir, Vadodara, and Andaman and Nicobar.
