NEW DELHI: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on Wednesday cancelled the tender for the fourth generation (4G) network upgradation and expansion, after the government recently barred state-run telcos from sourcing equipment from Chinese players Huawei and ZTE.

"Tender for planning, engineering, supply, installation, testing commissioning and annual maintenance of 4G mobile network in the north, east, west and south zones of BSNL and Delhi and Mumbai LSA of MTNL on turnkey basis issued on March 23, 2020, is hereby canceled." the state-run telco in a notification said.

The voucher offers unlimited voice calls with a fair usage policy (FUP) of 250 minutes, besides 100 free SMS messages per day. However, customers will not get any data benefits under this plan.

BSNL extends 'Work@Home' plan availability, introduces two new plans

BSNL has announced that they will be extending the recently announced ‘Work@Home’ promotional broadband plan. The broadband plan was first announced back in March and it brought the internet to more homes during the period of lockdown. Now, as more people continue to work from home, the Internet Service Provider decided to extend the availability of the plan. 

BSNL Extends “Work@Home” Broadband Plan until July 26

BSNL has prolonged its “[email protected]” broadband plan for landline clients. The plan was first launched in March and acquired additional prolonged. It will now expire on the 26th of July.
