DoT may recommend names for BSNL, MTNL chiefs by month end

The Department of Telecom (DoT) could suggest names for the top posts of state-owned telcos Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) by the end of December, even as AN Rai, the interim head of the former, has received a two-month extension, people familiar with the matter said.

MTNL's interim Chairman and Managing Director PK Purwar, whose term is expiring on December 23, is also likely to get an extension for another two months, even as the department proposes fresh names to the appointment committee, one of the people told ET.

BSNL Chennai Unlimited Broadband Plan BB Home ULD 800 rationalized

According to the 43rd amendment of TRAI guidelines and instructions BSNL rationalized its successful running Home Unlimited Broadband plan in Chennai Telephone District.

State run Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) enhanced the Fixed Monthly Charges (FMC) of running BB Home Combo ULD 800 plan to BB Home Combo 845 in Chennai Telephone District. The customers who are under this plan will be migrated to new revised charges.

Complaints - Deduct balance from my bsnl prepaid mobile

From my bsnl prepaid no. 8765186259. 29 rs. Deduct for the service activation on 27 nov Which is not activate by me. Nd am done a complain on customer care of bsnl and there complaint no(docket no) is 2k27769036. Is done on 27 nov. But they not resolved it.
