BSNL is offering Freedom prepaid
plans in celebration of Independence Day. The Rs. 9 and Rs. 29 Freedom
prepaid plans include 2GB data, unlimited calls and 100 free SMS.
In celebration of India's 72nd
Independence Day, state-owned telecom operator BSNL has introduced two
'Freedom prepaid plans' of Rs. 9 and Rs. 29 respectively. The limited
time recharge pack can be availed between August 10 and August 25. The
prepaid plans offer 2GB data, unlimited voice calls and free SMS.
BSNL Freedom prepaid plan Rs. 9 offers 2GB data with FUP speed of 80 Kbps, unlimited voice calls and 100 free SMS. The validity of the Rs. 9 prepaid plan is for one day and is particularly useful to those looking for temporary offerings.
BSNL Freedom prepaid plan Rs. 29 similarly offers 2GB data with FUP
speed of 80 Kbps, unlimited voice calls and 100 free SMS. However, the
Rs. 29 prepaid plan has a validity of one week or seven days from the
day of recharge.
BSNL customers can recharge the Rs. 9 and Rs. 29 prepaid recharge any number of times between August 10 and August 25. However, if the validity of the pack extends beyond August 25 then customers will be downgraded to 1GB data and 100 free SMS.
The state-owned telecom operator had earlier introduced an Rs. 27 prepaid recharge plan. This plan includes 1GB data, unlimited voice calls, 300 free SMS. The validity of the Rs. 27 BSNL prepaid recharge plan is for 7 days.
In comparison, Reliance Jio's Rs. 19 prepaid recharge plan includes 0.15GB 4G data per day, unlimited Voice over LTE calls, 20 free SMS and having a validity of one day. Customers also receive a complimentary subscription to Jio apps.
