BSNL Freedom Offer with unlimited calls and data launched for Rs 9 and Rs 29

State-run telco, BSNL recently rolled out its Rs 171 plan with unlimited calling, 60GB data, and free SMSes for 30 days. It is one of the most affordable tariffs in the country, available to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circle users as of now. Today, the company has announced two new recharge options
of Rs 29 and Rs 9 with weekly and daily validity, respectively, as part of its Freedom Offer ahead of India’s Independence Day. These plans offer unlimited voice calls and data benefits to users. With the new schemes, BSNL is targeting subscribers who thrive on “daily income especially in rural Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III cities.”

As per BSNL, its Rs 29 pack offers unlimited calls to any network (except Delhi and Mumbai) and a FUP limit of 2GB data per day, after which the speed will drop to 80kbps. Moreover, you can send 100 SMSes in a day and enjoy PRBT (Personalised Ringback Tone) at no extra cost. As mentioned above, the validity period of the plan is seven days.

The Rs 9 recharge on the other hand, offers similar benefits, but with one-day validity. Not to forget, both the recharge benefits are valid between August 10th to August 25th. After the date, the Rs 29 tariff will only offer 1GB data per day and 300 SMSes in total in a week. The same will be the case with the Rs 9 plan.
