नई दिल्‍ली। सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की दूरसंचार कंपनी भारतीय संचार निगम लिमिटेड (बीएसएनएल) ने सीमित अवधि के लिए एक नया प्रीपेड प्‍लान लॉन्‍च किया है, जिसमें ग्राहकों को केवल डाटा का फायदा मिलेगा। इस नए प्रीपेड प्‍लान की वैलेडिटी 180 दिन यानी 6 माह की है और इसमें यूजर्स को 200जीबी डाटा मिलता है। यह नया प्‍लान सिर्फ कुछ चुनिंदा सर्किल में ही उपलब्‍ध कराया गया है।

State-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has launched a new plan for its prepaid users in India. The plan offers only data benefits to its users and doesn’t include calling or SMS benefits. The plan offers long-term validity of 180 days and 200GB of total data for that time period. The plan — that seems to be made available in select circles as of now — costs Rs 698.

BSNL Now Reiterating Better Service Commitment, Personally

BSNL has now been sending out personalized text messages to subscribers with respect to assuring of  better services and an attempt at further improvement. The state-led telco also thanks Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad in its message. Now, BSNL could be on the path to revival courtesy the package announced by the Modi-government recently.

State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has a Diwali Gift for its customers. The Rs 1,699 annual prepaid plan has been revised to add extra benefits for users who recharge before 31 October. Users would, therefore, have to hurry as they have just three days left to avail the additional benefits. Under the Diwali offer, the validity of the Rs 1,699 prepaid plan has been extended to 455 days from the original 365 days, which means BSNL customers recharging with this amount before 31 October will receive 90 days of additional validity.

MTNL 1 Gbps broadband plan launched: Check price and other details

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has unveiled a new 1 Gbps broadband plan. This one comes with a starting price of Rs 2,990 with a monthly FUP limit of 3TB (3000GB). There is also a Rs 4,990 1 Gbps MTNL broadband plan with a monthly FUP limit of 6TB (6000GB). However, to new customers, it is offering 4TB (4000GB) and 8TB (8000GB) monthly data respectively.

Why the telecom revival plan needs a rethink

On October 23, the government seemed to have finally cleared the air on its plans for public sector white elephants MTNL and BSNL. It would not disinvest from the state-run telcos-rather, it would put in money to 'revive' them.
