BSNL has now been sending out personalized text messages to subscribers with respect to assuring of  better services and an attempt at further improvement. The state-led telco also thanks Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad in its message. Now, BSNL could be on the path to revival courtesy the package announced by the Modi-government recently.

BSNL's 4G reiteration

As far as BSNL’s message to subscribers is concerned, it reads, “BSNL family is grateful to Shri Narendra Modi, Honorable PM, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, our Honourable Minister, and Government of India for supporting us through Revival Plan. We thank our esteemed customers for reposing faith in us. We rededicate ourselves to your service and will improve further.”
This personalized message follows that of a generic one on Twitter. With the telco potentially on the path to recovery, there could be 4G services full-fledged rolled-out even earlier than anticipated. It is true that people in India have been possessing expectations about the telco’s 4G services being launched soon after exiting the testing phase.
These expectations, recently led to trending on Twitter under popular hashtags such s “BSNL4G”, “IndiaNeedBSNL”, and “SwitchtoBSNL” respectively. Here, it is worth remembering that the IUC of late has become a major debate of discussion in the Indian telecom circle. Jio has already begun IUC. BSNL and other incumbent telcos have for now refrained from levying IUC charges on customers.

In related news, BSNL’s Rs 1699 plan is revamped with increased validity of 90 days. The new validity period is 455 days.
