The latest merger of BSNL and MTNL has brought about a number of
benefits to existing subscribers of the telecom service provider. The
benefits start with voice call benefits. BSNL has announced that they
will be providing free voice calling in Mumbai and Delhi circles for
selected recharge plans. Previously, BSNL provided free voice calling
apart from Mumbai and Delhi circles. The reason being those two circles
are present because that's where MTNL has based its operations.
However, post the merger of BSNL and MTNL, buyers can now avail the newly revamped prepaid recharge plans of Rs 429, Rs 485 and Rs 666. The recharges are now available for users in Mumbai and Delhi circles and they can avail the voice calling benefits as of now. More recharge plans should reflect the same change soon. The revamped Rs 429 prepaid plan now offers unlimited local and STD calls to any network in roaming and now also includes Mumbai and Delhi circles, 2.5GB of daily data, and 100 SMS messages per day. The plan has a validity of 81 days.
