Mobile connectivity: BSNL plan for uncovered areas promises savings of Rs 6,000 cr

Telecom secretary Aruna Sundararajan has directed the Universal Services Obligation Fund (USOF) to prepare a new project report based on the BSNL’s proposal for providing mobile connectivity in uncovered villages by setting up telecom towers in Left Wing Extremism (LWE)-affected areas and Meghalaya.

BSNL offers 200GB data at 20Mbps speed for Rs 995: Report

Under this plan users will get 200GB limited data at a speed of 20Mbps for Rs 995, however, the speed will be reduced to 2Mbps once the subscribers exhaust their FUP data, TelecomTalk reported.
The report says the telecom operator is also charging Rs.500 as an installation amount.

BSNL introduces new broadband plan at Rs 995; will offer 200GB of data

BSNL has launched a new broadband plan for a price of Rs 995 for subscribers in Kerala. The plan comes with a 20 mbps speed along with a 200GB FUP data.

BSNL announces ‘Onam Freedom offer’ with additional talk-time for prepaid users

As part of Onam celebrations, state-owned telecom operator BSNL has announced an ‘Onam Freedom offer’ for its prepaid subscribers. Under this plan, BSNL offers additional talk-time to customers. The offer is available on prepaid mobile top-ups of Rs 220, Rs 550 and Rs 1,100. As part of the deal, talk time of Rs 250, Rs 650 and Rs 1,350 will be provided on these prepaid top-ups, respectively.

BSNL to close CDMA services from Sept 5

Nashik: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd’s (BSNL), Nashik division will close down its CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) mobile network and landline services from September 5.

Nashik: The state-run Bharat Snachar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has firmed up its plan to provide Wi-Fi connectivity to 82 more villages of the district by the end of the current fiscal.
