The year-end is here and some telecom operators and internet service providers (ISPs) are giving special offers with their annual prepaid plans only for a limited period. Government-telco Bharat
Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and Jio are offering two long-term plans which will further get extended by 60 days and 29 days respectively until the new year. Users looking to avoid tariff hikes can opt for these plans as they will last users for over a year. ACT Fibernet has extended its Speed Booster offer which will upgrade the broadband speeds of some plans up to 500 Mbps. This offer is also only available till the end of December.BSNL Rs 2399 prepaid plan: BSNL is giving a hard-to-miss offer on its long-term prepaid plan priced at Rs 2399. No other telco is currently giving validity to users beyond 365 days. The prepaid plan priced at Rs 2399 previously gave 365 days validity but the telco extended it by 60 days. The offer is however promotional in nature and will be available until December 31, 2021. The Rs 2399 plan offers unlimited data with a speed reduced to 80 Kbps after 3GB per day. It also gives access to 100 SMS per day to any network and will give access to BSNL Tunes as well as Eros Now content for 425 days.
BSNL Rs 2545 prepaid plan: Jio is giving 29 days extra validity with its Rs 2545 prepaid plan which until now gave 336 days validity. The plan, thus now, gives a 365 days validity. It will however be available only for a limited period until January 2, 2022. The Rs 2545 prepaid plan from Jio offers 1.5 GB per day along with unlimited voice and 100 local and national SMS per day. The plan also gives users access to JioTV, JioCinema, JioSecurity, and JioCloud.
ACT or Atria Convergence Technology Fibernet started offering its customers additional speed benefits in November this year. ACT customers have received updates about the speed upgrades on their emails. ACT has now seemingly increased the Speed Boost offer till December end. ACT customers who are subscribed to plans lower than 100 Mbps will be upgraded to 100 Mbps at no additional cost. Customers with plan speeds of above 100 Mbps but below 300 Mbps will be eligible for a free upgrade to 300 Mbps, while those with plan speeds above 300 Mbps but below 500 Mbps will be upgraded to 500 Mbps speed. However, customers who are subscribed to 500 Mbps or higher plans will not be upgraded to the premium 1 Gbps speeds.
