BSNL Rs 155 Prepaid STV: The Revised Plan
BSNL has updated its prepaid STV plan priced at Rs 155. Earlier, this plan used to offer just 1.5GB of total data for a period of 17 days. As per the revised offerings, the same plan has now been updated to provide a total 2GB data per day. The validity of the plan remains unchanged. Now, you can can consume up to 34GB of data in a period of 17 days with no additional cost. BSNL has never been this aggressive with its data offerings on prepaid plans and special recharge tariffs. Not just the prepaid plan worth Rs 155, the telco has revised its entire prepaid data STV portfolio to mark its territory in the game. One popular data STV under this portfolio is the Rs 198 prepaid plan, which got a do-over as well. This plan now offers a whopping 2.5GB data incentive per day for the same price. The plan holds a validity of 24 days. This plan also offers free Print BSNL tunes for the entire validity period. Other data STVs that got a much-needed revision include the ones priced at Rs 14, Rs 29 and Rs 241.The BSNL prepaid plan for Rs 68, which has remained one of the best offerings from BSNL has been revised too. After modification, this plan now offers a total of 2GB data for a period of five days, which is up from the earlier 1GB data incentive. The Rs 78 and Rs 82 data STVs now offer 4GB of 3G data benefit for a period of three days. Additionally, the Rs. 82 STV has got free PRBT from the telecom operator. The plan priced at Rs. 85 will offer a total of 5GB data going forward. On the other hand, the plan priced at Rs 155 comes with 2GB data benefit on a day-to-day basis for a total of 17 days. And finally, we have the premium Rs 241 prepaid plan to wrap all the updates from BSNL. This plan now offers a whopping 7GB of data benefit for a time period of 30 days. The earlier offering of the plan included 2.7GB of data for the same validation period.
All the changes are already in effect across pan-India. The updated plans will be valid until September 6, 2018. Clearly, BSNL has introduced these plans on a promotional basis. Post the set expiration date, BSNL will be either modifying or retain the same offerings.
BSNL Takes on Jio and Airtel With the Revised Plans
Reliance Jio recently announced the new Jio Double Dhamaka Offer that will provide users with 1.5GB extra data per day select prepaid recharge packs. Other than this, both Jio has revised several other data offerings on their prepaid recharge plans. Both private telco giants have extended data limits on their recharge offerings. Airtel has also recently revised its unlimited Infinity plans lineup. This latest move from BSNL comes as an impressive attempt to take on these telecom giants.
