BSNL Announces True Unlimited Voice Calling on a Slew of Broadband Plans

State-run telecom and broadband service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has now announced true unlimited voice calling across its entire broadband tariff plan portfolio, allowing the users to make calls to any network across the country.
BSNL has implemented two new changes to its broadband plans for both the existing and new users, which will be effective from June 1, 2018. The first one is users on Rs 645 or above broadband plan can make unlimited voice calls to any network in the country; The second one is the users with Rs 249, and below Rs 645 broadband plans can make unlimited voice calls to any BSNL user across the country.

As per the official information available, BSNL has issued a change to offer unlimited free calling (both local and STD) within India on any network across all the FTTH Broadband Combo Plans priced above Rs 645. Right now, the voice calling with some of the broadband plans in some circles is limited within the circles, but starting today, users can make free voice calls to any network in the country.
The second change is to offer unlimited free calling (local+STD) within India on BSNL network across all the broadband combo plans on a pan India basis with plans priced between Rs 249 and Rs 645. Right now, these plans offer free voice calling within BSNL network in some circles, but now user can make unlimited voice calls on a Pan India basis.
Regarding the second change, BSNL stated as follows, “To offer unlimited free calling (Local + STD) within India on BSNL Network across all the DSL/FTTH Broadband Combo plans [PAN India / Circle Specific] with FMC of Rs.249/- & above but less than Rs.645/-, which are currently being offered to the customers in different Circles/PAN India basis, in all the Circles.”
BSNL also stated that the additional facility for ‘unlimited free calling between 10.30 PM to 6 AM & on all Sundays to any network within India’ shall also be extended as per the regular instructions. The telco also confirmed that ISD facility will remain the same as per current guidelines for all the Pan India or circle specific or FTTH broadband combo plans. This new change is effective from June 1, 2018, across the country.
