BSNL rolls out Rs 666 plan, offers 477GB data

NEW DELHI: It seems like state-owned telecom operator BSNL is really feeling the heat of the growing competition in the telecom industry. Last week, the telco rolled out some new prepaid plans and now it has come up with another new offer.


The telecom operator has introduced a new ‘Bumper Offer’ for its prepaid subscribers. As per the new plan, the service provider will be offering 2.2GB additional data above the existing benefits.


Under this offer, the Rs 666 ‘Sixer’ plan from BSNL offers a total of 3.7GB data per day which is an increase from the 1.5GB data. The plan comes with the validity of 129 days and now users will get a total of 477.3GB data under this plan. Along with this, users will also get 100 SMS per day and unlimited local and STD calling.


Apart from the above mentioned plan, there are 9 other plans that will come under this additional benefits offer. The 9 plans include Rs 186, Rs 429, Rs 485 and Rs 999 plans. Under the Rs 186 plan, customers will get 1GB daily data along with 2.2GB extra data. The plan comes with the validity of 28 days. On the other hand, under the Rs 149 plan, BSNL subscribers will get 1GB data daily which is increased by 2.2GB data per day. This means users will get 3.3GB data per day for the period of 81 days with unlimited calling.


The Rs 485 plan comes with the validity of 90 days and users get 1.5GB data per day under the plan. Now with the add-on plan, subscribers will get a total of 3.7GB data per day with unlimited calling benefit. Lastly, under Rs 999 plan, BSNL subscribers will ger 3.2GB data with additional benefit for the period of 181 days.


Apart from the above mentioned plans, the other 5 plans which come under the bumper offer include Rs 187, Rs 333, Rs 349, Rs 444 and Rs 447 unlimited STVs. With the additional benefit, users will get 3.2GB under Rs 187, 5.2GB data under Rs 333, Rs 349 and Rs 447 plans offer 3.2GB data per day and with the Rs 444 plan users will now get 6.2GB data daily.
