BSNL is again in the news and this time
the telco has brought some good news for all the cricket lovers of the
country. Just after Reliance Jio’s Cricket Season Pack launched, BSNL
joined the race to cash in on popular T20 tournament. BSNL is a
state-run company and has announced a new Rs 248 prepaid STV plan with
153GB data for 51 days which turns out to be a whopping 3GB per day. It
has launched a pack from which the cricket enthusiasts will benefit.
This is the first-of-its-kind cricket pack launched by BSNL starting
from April 7, 2018, to April 30, 2018. This will be useful for
subscribers to stream live all the matches at a very economical rate.
BSNL
said, “This plan will be useful for our subscribers to stream live
matches at a very economical rate.” Speaking more about the recently
launched Rs 248 prepaid plan, the company did not mention any of the
voice calling benefits which forces us to think that it might not offer
any voice calls in the first place.
As
we compare it with Reliance Jio’s Cricket Season Pack, it is priced at
Rs. 251 and offers 102GB of 4G mobile data for a period of 51 days
coupled with free live-streaming of T20 2018 matches.
Reliance JioTV Subscribers will have access to all LIVE matches
throughout these 51 days.
To cash in
on the cricket season, Airtel too has launched their live streaming app
called Airtel TV. The app will offer free access to live matches and
match highlights for the upcoming T20 via Hotstar. Airtel’s announcement
comes just a day after Reliance Jio launched a prepaid recharge plan
priced at Rs. 251 for cricket lovers.
