IPL fever: BSNL’s Rs 248 IPL pack offers 3GB of data per day for 51 days

Just yesterday, Reliance Jio launched its IPL-centric 4G data plan of Rs 251, which offers 102GB data for 51 days. Soon after, state-run telecom operator BSNL has also launched an IPL-centric special recharge plan for its prepaid subscribers. BSNL’s plan brings massive data benefits for a validity of 51 days, which is also the duration of the IPL season 2018 – April 7th to May 27th.

BSNL’s Rs 248 IPL pack provides users with 153GB of data for 51 days with an FUP of 3GB per day. While Jio’s IPL plan offers high-speed data on 4G networks, BSNL users will have to settle with 3G data speeds. BSNL’s IPL data plan is available for a limited period between April 7th and April 30th, 2018.

BSNL’s Rs 248 IPL plan is available for its all prepaid subscribers across the country where the telecom operator operates. The company said that this plan will be useful for its subscribers to stream live IPL matches at an affordable rate. Unlike Jio, BSNL hasn’t yet partnered with any content streaming provider to deliver IPL matches to its users. However, BSNL users can use Hotstar to watch this year’s IPL matches.
