BSNL’s new Rs. 75 prepaid plan:
The state-owned telecom operator has been very keen to add to its tally plans under Rs. 100. The latest plan that the operator is providing is the Rs. 75 prepaid plan. With several plans that have been offered under the price range of Rs. 100 the latest plan Rs. 75 doesn’t disappoint in anyway with its offerings.Comparison with Idea Rs. 75 and Airtel Rs. 75 plans:
This new plan is all set to compete with Idea Cellular’s similarly priced Rs. 75 prepaid plan which provides limited voice calling, 1 GB mobile data and 100 SMS benefits to its users. Similarly, Airtel also has an Rs. 75 plan, which comes with 1GB mobile data, unlimited voice calls and 100 free SMS for the validity period of 28 days. BSNL is clearly the winner in its offering as it comes with a much wider scope.The highlight of this Airtel plan is that if users feel that the plan’s validity is too short, they can extend the validity period by paying additional funds. The additional validity period extension can be done for 90 days or 180 days.

BSNL Jeevitha Prepaid Plan:
The extension plans are available in all circles across the country, except for Delhi and Mumbai. The plan has initially been introduced in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circle and it is expected to be rolled on to other telecom circles in the near future. The plan has been termed as BSNL Jeevitha Prepaid Plan. It is not clear at this stage if the plan will be extended to the Mumbai and Delhi circle at any stage.The most unique feature of the plan is its ability to extend the validity of the plan with additional days by paying extra money. Users that have subscribed to this plan can buy an STV that is priced between Rs. 98 and Rs. 199 in order to be eligible for the extension of the validity period of 90 days. Other benefits included would be according to the respective STV.
Airtel Announces pre-5G Massive MIMO Technology Deployment Plans For Andhra Pradesh, Telangana
If the users recharge using an STV that has a value of Rs. 199 or more they would be eligible for an extension of validity by 180 days on the original plan. Apart from this additional benefits that will be applicable to the respective STV will also be added to the base plan.
The validity extension will not be applicable if the users buy the STV from the web self-care, self-care or via USSD. The plans that would be applicable as STVs would include Rs 98, Rs 99, Rs 118, Rs 139, Rs 187, Rs 198, Rs 319, Rs 333, Rs 339, Rs 349, Rs 395, Rs 444, Rs 447 and Rs 551 plans.
