New Delhi, May 02- Chairman and Deputy Chairman of
J&K Legislative Council (LC) today met Union Minister for
Communication and Information Technology, Ravi Shankar Prasad and
appraised him about the problems being faced by the people of Ladakh
region on account of non availability of mobile and Communication
Towers.
Chairman discussed various issues that need to be covered including master switching centers facility for Kargil, National Highway under BSNL network from Srinagar to Leh, 3G facility (Network) for Ladakh region especially in Kargil District besides improvement in Broadband speed in whole Ladakh region.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Chairman who also apprised the Minister about the problems faced by the people of District Rajouri and Poonch especially on Mughal Road and demanded for providing the facility of BSNL Network.
