BSNL new prepaid plan offers 2GB daily data and unlimited calls: Here’s all you need to know

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has been launching new prepaid plans to keep its subscribers hooked to the network and compete with private telcos such as Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea and Reliance Jio. Now, BSNL Rs. 78 prepaid recharge plan has been launched as a limited period plan on the occasion of Dussehra and Diwali which will offer 2GB of daily and more benefits to the subscribers

Coming to the details, the BSNL Rs. 78 prepaid recharge plan will offer 2GB of daily data and unlimited local and STD voice calls. After users exhaust the 2GB daily data limit, internet speed will be reduced to 80Kbps and it should be noted that BSNL is only offering its 4G services in Kerala for now and is expected to offer 4G connectivity in other circles by the end of this month.
That said, the validity of BSNL Rs. 78 prepaid recharge plan is 10 days and the plan can be availed starting from October 15 onwards. On the other hand, the period between which the new prepaid plan from BSNL can be availed has not yet been revealed but it indeed is a limited period offer as part of the festive season in India.

Moreover, the plan is highly likely to have no FUP limits for voice calls while subscribers can also use this benefit on roaming. The BSNL Rs. 78 prepaid recharge plan competes with Reliance Jio’s Rs. 52 recharge pack which offers truly unlimited voice calls (local, STD and roaming), 70 SMS along with a free subscription to Jio’s suite of apps. Sadly, there is only a total of 1.05GB 4G data available for users with a daily limit of 150MB.
