BSNL Rs. 349 prepaid recharge plan offering daily data for 54 days

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has been revising its prepaid plans with a very aggressive approach in order to compete with private telcos such as Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel. Now, the state-owned telco has revised the BSNL Rs. 349 prepaid recharge plan.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has revised another prepaid plan from its lineup and now the BSNL Rs. 349 prepaid recharge plan is offering 1GB of daily high-speed data with a validity of 54 days. The move by the state-owned telco is said to be taken to compete with Reliance Jio’s Rs. 349 prepaid plan which is offering 1.5GB data of daily data but with a validity of 70 days.

When the BSNL Rs. 349 prepaid recharge plan is compared to what private telcos are offering, it doesn’t seem up to the mark, however, it is still one of the cheapest offers from BSNL. As per a report by TelecomTalk, the BSNL Rs. 349 prepaid recharge plan is valid in all circles where the state-owned telco has its operations.

On the other hand, the BSNL Rs. 349 prepaid recharge plan also comes bundled with unlimited voice calls (local, STD and roaming) but sadly, there is no SMS benefit with this plan. That being said, BSNL users will be charged at the standard rates for voice calls to any number in Mumbai and Delhi circles as Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited doesn’t operate in these circles.

In comparison, Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular are also offering an Rs. 349 prepaid recharge plan, with unlimited voice calls 100 SMS per day and 3GB of daily data. While the Airtel plan doesn’t have any FUP limit, Idea cellular users have a limit of 250 minutes per day as well as 1000 minutes per week. Both the plans are valid for 28 days.
