Claiming that corruption has been “rooted out” of his
ministry and entry to middlemen is banned, Union Minister for
Communication and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad said the
government has auctioned spectrum worth Rs 1,09,000 crore without
raising eyebrows. He also said the Union coal ministry has auctioned Rs

To be built on 4,000 sq mt at an
estimated cost of Rs 40 crore, the Parcel Processing Centre will have
the capacity to handle 75,000 parcels per day with automated weighing
and sorting systems. Mr. Prasad also dedicated six India Post ATMs
located in Maharashtra and Goa and inaugurated MTNL’s Tier 3 Data
Centre.
He said India Post, which had four ATMs in
2014, now operates 913 across the country. “The Speed Post service has
been described as the best courier service in the country by the CAG,”
he added.
He said that digital technology has also promoted
jan bhaagidari
(people participation), and two million people interact with government on the MyGov platform, giving suggestions..
