BSNL to rollout new postpaid plans with unlimited calling, data rollover facility on 1 December


 NEW DELHI: State-run telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is set to launch new postpaid plans that will offer benefits including unlimited voice calls and daily 100 free SMS limit to any non-BSNL network along with a data rollover benefit, as per a report by India Today. 


These postpaid plan benefits will be available pan-India starting 1 December 2020.

These new postpaid plans have been priced at Rs 199, Rs 798, and Rs 999. BSNL customers who opt for these plans will also be able to avail of data rollover upto three times the monthly data and will also provide upto three family connections.



The Rs 199 plan offers unlimited on-net voice calling with 300 minutes of free off-net calls. This plan also provides 25GB data with rollover benefits of upto 75GB and 100 free SMS. However, it doesn’t provide any family connections.

The Rs 798 postpaid plan offers unlimited voice calls to any non-BSNL networks and 50GB of free data, with rollover benefits of upto 150GB. This plan also comes with 100 free SMS benefits and 2 family add-on connections. Each family add-on will get an unlimited voice calling facility.
Lastly, Rs 999 postpaid plan offers unlimited calls to any network across India and also provides 75GB free data with rollover benefits of upto 225GB. It also provides benefits such as 100 free SMS and 3 family add-on connections.

Notably, the unlimited calling benefits come with a 250-minute FUP limit for local, STD, and other calls after which subscribers will be charged at base plan tariff.

Apart from these plans, BSNL will also bring in two add-ons for Rs 150 and Rs 250 that will give 40GB data and 70GB data respectively, as per the report.

BSNL will also phase out postpaid plans priced at Rs 99, Rs 225, Rs 325, Rs 799, and Rs 1125 from December 1.

BSNL will offer Rs 50 as a discount for 3 months to the customers of postpaid plan Rs 799 migrating to any higher plan -- Rs 999 or Rs 1525 and will be available for a limited period of 90 days from the date of withdrawal of the plans--i.e., 1 December 2020.
