Both Reliance Jio and BSNL are known for their special recharge
offerings that keep cropping up from festival to festival. With Diwali
around the corner, telecom operators are pushing a number of data and
voice-centric STVs. Interestingly, some of these offers carry a
year-long validity with special Diwali discounts for their subscribers.
The first one to introduce a prepaid recharge plan with 365 days validity is Reliance Jio, and the counter-move comes from BSNL in the form of two annual prepaid plans.

Note that you cannot redeem two coupons at the same time and they expire on December 31, 2018. Interestingly, the 100 percent cashback offer is not limited to the annual prepaid recharge plan. The costlier annual BSNL plan has been priced at INR 2,099 and it offers 4GB data per day, apart from all the unlimited calling, SMS benefits. In fact, the FUP limit on the data also remains the same as the first plan. With this plan, the data offer translates to a total of 1460GB or 1.4TB over a course of 365 days, which is a first for a prepaid recharge plan.
While BSNL has more options with its annual prepaid recharge plans, it is important to note that the subscribers will not be getting 4G speeds initially. The state-run telco has recently received the approval for 4G connectivity, and the deployment will take a while. Jio, on the other hand, has built its entire subscriber base with its cost-effective 4G data offerings.

The INR 1,699 prepaid recharge plan offers free local and national voice calls with no FUP limits, unlimited roaming calls along with 100 SMS per day (local and national). The prepaid recharge plan will be valid for 365 days from the day of recharge. As for the data benefits, the plan offers a total of 547.5GB of data for the entire validity period. The data offering comes with a cap of 1.5GB per day. Upon hitting the data limit, the speed will be throttled to 64Kbps. BSNL Prepaid Recharge Plans with 365 Days Validity
