BSNL to offer users 68GB more data under this Rs 241 plan

NEW DELHI: State-owned telecom operator BSNL is feeling the heat of growing competition in the telecom industry. The service provider has revamped its Rs 241 plan according to an online report.

The Rs 241 plan from BSNL is a data-only plan and it doesn’t offer voice calling or SMS benefits like most of the other plans available right now. Earlier, the telecom operator was offering 7GB of data under Rs 241 plan, but after the revision, the BSNL subscribers will get 75GB of data at the same price and with the same validity. The plan comes with a validity of 30 days.

The BSNL prepaid users will get total 75GB data under Rs 241 plan and it has the daily FUP limit of 2.5GB. The report from Telecom Talk further adds that this is a promotional offer is valid from September 10 to December 5.

Recently, it was reported that BSNL has introduced new broadband plans for its new customers.

As part of the new plan the service provider will be giving up to 600GB data to its users per month. The BSNL broadband users can choose from four plans priced at Rs 99, Rs 199, Rs 229 and Rs 399. The service provider will offer the speed of 20Mbps on all the four plans. In case the user exhausts the daily FUP limit then the speed will come down to 1Mbps.

Along with the data benefits, the plans also offer unlimited voice calling. As reported by Telecom Talk, these new plans are available on promotional basis which means that they will expire after the period of 90 days.
