BSNL market share up by 2.6% in Pune

Pune: The market share of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Pune, has increased by 2.6% over the last year, Arvind Vadnerkar, principal general manager of BSNL, Pune, announced on Wednesday.

Vadnerkar was speaking at the third telephone advisory committee meeting held at Sanchar Bhavan on Satara Road. MP Anil Shirole, MP Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil and MP Amar Sable were present at the meeting.
The new tariff plans, new facilities and several other development projects undertaken by the BSNL were discussed at the meeting. “BSNL has provided high-speed internet services to 852 gram panchayats in Pune district. This has enabled villagers to access facilities like e-governance,” Vadnerkar said.
The MPs and members gave suggestions to improve the services. The MPs also assured BSNL, Pune that their problems will be raised with the higher authorities.
