DT Interview with BSNL's Anupam Shrivastava: BharatNet with Sterlite Tech

At MWC 2018, Indian Minister of Communications Manoj Sinha MP inaugurated the country's BharatNet project - part of the Digital India initiative - which aims to connect remote communities across India via Wi-Fi.


The project is being spearheaded by state-owned operator BSNL, with equipment provided by Sterlite Tech. DT Editor James Barton spoke to Anupam Shrivastava, Chairman & Managing Director of BSNL, about the impact that the project will have in India.
