BSNL 1199 Plan Offers Unlimited Data For Entire Family

State run telecom operator BSNL is leaving no stone unturned to keep pace with its competitors, be it Jio, Airtel or Vodafone. To retain its subscribers and keeping the rivals at bay BSNL has launched a new tariff plan ‘BSNL 1199 plan’ at the cost of Rs 1199 per month. The new plan, called ‘BBG Combo ULD 1199 Family’ offers unlimited broadband data as well as unlimited mobile services to 3 members of a family.


The BSNL 1199 plan comes bundled witth 3 mobile connections. These 3 mobile connections can be existing numbers or entirely new numbers or a mix of both. BSNL is offering multiple benefits with this new data plan.

Under the BSNL 1199 plan, the state run telco offers unlimited broadband data usage with a data speed of up to 10 Mbps. The plan also allows unlimited free calling from the landline number to any network within India. Besides the broadband offer, the BSNL 1199 plan offers unlimited free calling from the 3 mobile numbers to any network in India.

Not only free unlimited calling, these 3 connections can access unlimited data on their mobile phones. The unlimited data access, however, has been limited to 1 GB per day and post that the data speed will be scuttled to 40 kbps.

The new plan also comes with some content offerings. This include online TV on mobile and online education subscription access for one month. The online TV offering will be allowed in one SIM cards out of the three connections that are offered under this plan. Similarly, the online education will be offered on any subject up to the class 12th and is limited to only one SIM out of the three.

Besides the BSNL 1199 plan, the operator is also coming up with new plan for its landline subscribers. The new plan comes with a rental of Rs 99 and offers unlimited calling to BSNL network across the country.
