BSNL launches new Rs 499 postpaid plan with 45GB of data benefits and more

Earlier this month, BSNL launched a monthly postpaid plan of Rs 399. Now, the company has introduced yet another postpaid pack that costs Rs 499. The new short-term data and voice calling combo plan comes with a validity of a month. BSNL’s latest plan arrived soon after India’s leading telco Airtel launched its own Rs 499 Infinity postpaid plan with similar benefits.

BSNL’s Rs 499 postpaid plan offers unlimited local and STD calls alongside free national incoming and outgoing roaming calls (without any FUP), and 100 SMSes per day for a period of a month. The pack also provides 45GB of data, which doesn’t come with a daily FUP. It’s worth noting that the data with the new BSNL plan can be used on 2G, 3G and 4G networks, but the telco’s 4G network is only available in the Kerala circle at the moment.

BSNL’s latest plan for postpaid subscribers is available across the country in most telecom circles. Notably, the data and calling benefits of the BSNL Rs 499 postpaid pack may vary from user to user and state to state.
