BSNL contract employees have called off their indefinite satyagraha
before the Principal General Manager Office here on Friday, following an
assurance that their wages will be disbursed before the seventh day of
every month.
The indefinite satyagraha was launched on March 15 under the aegis of the BSNL Casual Contract Labourers Union.
In the wake of the assurance, the agitation was called off temporarily, State working president K. Mohanan said in a release here.
