NEW DELHI: Over the top (OTT) player YuppTV on Monday entered into a triple play partnership with BSNL to offer video content and broadband technology services to mobile and fixed line users.
In a statement, the video content provider said that given BSNL’s wide reach especially in tier 2 & 3 markets with a fervent mobile base, it has the potential of providing Triple play services to any corner in the country.

BSNL to roll out 4G services by the end of March 2020
New Delhi: In a relief to the cash-strapped telecom PSU, Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) is set to roll out 4G Services by the end of this financial year, said PK Purwar, CMD, BSNL.

BSNL Extends the Availability of Rs 1,188 Long-Validity Prepaid Plan for Another 90 Days
BSNL has now extended the availability of Rs 1,188 Marutham plan
by another 90 days. Back in July this year, BSNL launched the

is monetising land assets to improve revenue while cutting operational
costs in the absence of revival package from the government, according
to chairman Pravin Kumar Purwar.
The telco requires 4G airwaves to stay competitive, and is looking at
cutting its workforce by nearly half once the Centre approves its
much-awaited voluntary retirement scheme, Purwar told ET in an interview. Edited excerpts:

The STV plan applies to users in Maharashtra circle with regions like Akola, Bhandara, Beed, Jalna, Osmanabad and other nearby regions, as per a report by TelecomTalk.

BSNL has reportedly capped voice call minutes in for 22 of its unlimited combo prepaid plans starting August 19. As per TelecomTalk
report, the state run telecom operator has implemented voice calling
cap at 250 minutes per day. Initially, it was believed that only
long-validity combo plans would be affected from this, but apparently
all the plans with ‘Unlimited offering will get 250 minutes calling
limit from now on.
