State-owned telecom operator BSNL has increased the internet data limit
of its Rs 96 and 236 STV 4G prepaid plans. BSNL 4G subscribers with
these plans will get 10GB data on a daily basis.
The Rs 96 STV plan by BSNL will be valid for 28 days which means a total of 280GB of data will be the user’s with 10GB daily data limit. The STV plan applies to users in Maharashtra circle with regions like Akola, Bhandara, Beed, Jalna, Osmanabad and other nearby regions, as per a report by TelecomTalk.
The Rs 236 STV will be valid for 84 days and comes with a total of 840GB data.
However, it should be noted that the 10GB data benefit will only apply in circles where 4G network is active. Also, the plans just offer 10GB daily data, but do not come with any voice or SMS benefits. Furthermore, these two Rs 96 and Rs 236 STV’s will be active only for a limited time period.
The telecom operator had reportedly capped voice call minutes to 250 minutes per day for a large number of its unlimited combo prepaid plans from August 19. They comprise of 22 plans that are: STV’s Rs 9, Rs 18, Rs 29, Rs 39, Rs 43, Rs 47, Rs 78, Rs 99, Rs 118, Rs 146, Rs 187, Rs 199, Rs 298, Rs 319, Rs 349, Rs 395, Rs 392, Rs 399, Rs 447, Rs 449, PV 96 and PV 1188.
BSNL has also confirmed that its Rs 1,098 prepaid plan will not be receiving any voice calling FUP limit and will continue to offer 375GB of 2G/3G data without any daily FUP limit, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMSes per day for 75 days.
