After announcing some really interesting prepaid plans for its users,
BSNL is now taking another unique step to attract more customers. The
state-owned telecom operator is now offering two months extra validity
on its Rs 1,699 yearly prepaid plan.
Previously, the BSNL prepaid plan of Rs 1,699 offered benefits for 365 days but with the latest change the validity extends to 425 days now. According to TelecomTalk report, subscribers can enjoy this extra validity period of two months only if they recharge their number before November 30.
Now about the benefits, BSNL gives free local and national calls daily with a capping of 250 minutes daily along with 100 SMS and 2GB daily data under the plan. Subscribers will get extra 1GB data in the month of November and December as a part of additional benefit.
BSNL has also extended the validity of its Marutham plan priced at Rs 1,188. This plan was previously said to be valid until October 23 but the company has extended its validity for 90 days which means it is now available till January 21, 2020.
Talking about the benefits, the plan offers unlimited local and national calling along with a cap of 250 minutes per day. There's 5GB data benefit which is to be availed through the entire 345 days of validity.
Talking about unique steps, BSNL has also announced to credit 6 paise for every five minutes of voice calls placed by the subscribers. The cashback offer is applicable on BSNL's wireline, broadband and FTTH customers. This is in exact oppose to Jio's latest move wherein it is charging its users 6 paise per minute for outgoing calls from Jio to another network.

has also announced free calls to MTNL users living in Mumbai and Delhi.
MTNL is the state-owned telco operating in Delhi and Mumbai circles.
There are three plans - Rs 429, Rs 485 and Rs 666. The Rs 429 plan
offers free call voice calling benefits on all networks including MTNL
with 1GB data per day benefit for a validity period of 81 days. The Rs
485 plan offers free calls and 1.5GB data per day benefit for 90 days of
validity. The Rs 666 plan also offers free calling and same data
benefits as Rs 485 plan but the validity goes to 122 days.
