Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has extended its freebies for all Data STVs priced under 100. STV’s are special Tariff Voucher with BSNL, designed with the aim of providing users with making limited and unlimited voice calls and data usage. BSNL with their latest extension to their STV plans has revised quite many plans under Rs 100 for users’ benefits.


BSNL has re-designed their STV plans with a view of helping users get more value for their money as well as typically compete with the other private operators the State-run telecom operator has been competing with. Their plans are reportedly the cheapest and provide more benefits than any of the other private operators around. Let’s get straight to what these revised plans have to offer BSNL users. BSNL’s revised STV Plans

BSNL has revised STV plans for many recharge options under Rs 100. STVs of Rs 14, Rs 40, Rs. BSNL has revised 58, Rs 78, Rs 82 and Rs 85. Additionally, the State-run telecom operator has also regularised the Data STV 155 to have no expiry date to the plan.

The STV Rs 14 plan earlier offer data of 500 MB with a validity of one day, which has now been revised to 1GB of data with the same validity period. The STV 40 is set to offer 1GB of data for five days, while the STV 57, which is the current best plan considering volume and value. The STV 57 offers user 1GB data for 21 days, which is better than any other private telecom operator.

BSNL STV 68, 78 & 82

BSNL has further revised plans higher than the STV 57 plan, with visible upgrades for the STV 68, 78 and 82 plans. With the STV 68, the telecom operator now offers 2GB data to users with five days of validity, while the STV 78, although is only valid for three days will provide users with 4GB of data. The STV 82 on the other hand, gives users 4GB of data with a validity of four days along with Personalised Ring Back Tone (PRBT).
STV 85 & Regularised Data on STV 155

The STV 85 is the last of the revised BSNL STV plans under Rs 100. The STV 85, will provide users with 5 GB of data alongside seven days of the validity period. Although the STV 155, despite being above the Rs 100 range offers the best value for money plan among the rest.

The STV 155 is being regularised by BSNL, and despite previously the plan was only offered as promotional activity and owing to its success, BSNL has regularised the plan with a validity of 90 days. But after BSNL’s regularisation of the plan, it does not have validity period attached to it and resembles BSNL’s best open market plan.

The STV plans enable BSNL users to choose a plan that would suit their usage.
