Jio GigaFiber effect: BSNL's Rs. 699 broadband plan now offers 700GB data at 20Mbps speed

BSNL's Rs. 699 broadband plan has been revised to offer double the data and speed in wake of Jio GigaFiber launch in India. Here are more details on BSNL BBG Combo ULD 699 broadband plan.
BSNL's Rs. 699 broadband plan revised to take on Jio GigaFiber Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is one of the leading broadband service providers in India, however, in wake of the Jio GigaFiber launch in India, BSNL has revised its one of the most popular broadband plan to offer double the data and at higher speeds. BSNL’s Rs. 699 broadband plan has been revised in order to counter Jio GigaFiber FTTH broadband services.

The plan is also known as the BSNL BBG Combo ULD 699 broadband plan and it now offers 700GB of high-speed data which is double than before along with speeds of up to 20Mbps. Moreover, since it is an unlimited plan, users will be able to enjoy internet access at 2Mbps even after the FUP limit gets exhausted. Earlier, BSNL's Rs. 699 broadband plan used to offer broadband speeds of 10 Mbps.
The revision has been made in Chennai circle only since it is only available in that particular circle. On the other hand, BSNL is offering broadband plans such as Rs 695, Rs 799 and more for other circles. BSNL's Rs. 699 broadband plan is part of the fixed-line voice calling service as well and it comes bundled with unlimited voice calls within India to any network.

Meanwhile, Reliance Jio is gearing up for the Jio GigaFiber rollout and according to a recent report, the company will launch the Jio GigaFiber Preview Offer, through which, users will be able to avail 100GB of free data per month for the first three months with broadband speeds of up to 100Mbps.
