According to reports, the MTNL, the State-run telecom firm has announced
that soon they would be launching a new free roaming free scheme for
all those who are into regular travelling and have to recharge their
mobiles with special roaming offers in Delhi and Mumbai.
The company in an official statement said that all the MTNL users would be getting the free roaming packs in Delhi and Mumbai. While the other State-run telecom giant BSNL have already launched the same roaming pack schemes for their consumers.
However, as of now the MTNL customers have to pay extra amount as the roaming charges whenever they are travelling outside of Delhi and Mumbai.
Talking more about the free roaming schemes, NK Yadav, the Chairman and Managing Director of MTNL said that the company is presently thinking about the final dates when can the company can launch the free roaming dates and once that decided then that company would be launching the free roaming schemes for its customers.
While, the plan would be launched keeping in mind the National Telecom Policy 2012, which aims to get their target of free roaming steadily.
