The arrival of Reliance Jio has undoubtedly shaken up the Indian
telecom sector. The ultra-affordable data-voice combo plans offered by
Jio have led to rival telcos revamping their existing offerings, and
introducing new ones.
While the primary focus is still on offering competitive tariffs, telcos are now focusing on including extra goodies like bundled Amazon Prime or Netflix subscriptions to make their plans even better. The leading telcos of the country – Bharti Airtel, Vodafone, and BSNL – all offer free subscription to these OTT platforms, with Amazon Prime subscription being common factor in all three’s offerings.
On the other hand, Vodafone telecom operator to bundle free subscription of Netflix with its plans. It was soon followed by Bharti Airtel, which began offering a one-year free subscription of Netflix with its packs as well. Recently, state-owned BSNL also joined the fray in offering its customers (both postpaid and prepaid) free Netflix subscriptions.
In case you’re an existing customer of any of these three telcos (or are planning to get your number ported), here’s all you need to know about the bundled Netflix or Amazon Prime subscriptions offered by BSNL, Vodafone, and Bharti Airtel.
To avail this offer, Airtel users must log-in to ‘My Airtel’ app and

subscribers, Airtel also offers Prime membership to its V-Fiber
broadband subscribers, provided they are on a plan priced at least Rs
1,999. Airtel recently started offering a three month subscription to Netflix as part of its ‘Thank You’ campaign as well.
Apart from Amazon Prime, Vodafone offers a three-month Netflix
subscription to all subscribers who are on the Rs 1,999 RED postpaid
plan. Those who are on the Rs 2,999 RED postpaid plan get free Netflix
for the whole year.
The offer is also available for BSNL’s broadband users who have a broadband plan with a monthly rental of Rs 745 or above. To redeem the offer, users must visit BSNL’s official website and click on ‘BSNL Amazon Offer’. They’ll then receive an OTP, which can be used to activate the offer on their tied Amazon account.
