BSNL offers 25 per cent cashback on these select broadband plans

State-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new cashback offer for its BSNL landline, broadband, and broadband Wi-Fi users. The company is offering a cashback of 25 per cent on subscription to the company's annual and half-yearly broadband plans.

You need to register between December 10 and 31 to become eligible for the offer. You can call the BSNL customer care helpline or visit the BSNL customer care centre to avail the cashback offer. The cashback will apply to the total bill amount. The cashback offer is available in all BSNL circles which does not include Delhi and Mumbai. Also, both new and existing customers are eligible for the cashback.
The offer not only aims to attract new customers but also encourage the BSNL landline users to get a new BSNL WiFi connection.
This is how it will work: If you are spending Rs 1000 a month on your broadband then Rs 250 will be credited every month. So, if it's a half-yearly plan you will get Rs 1500 at the end of six months and if it's an annual one then a total of Rs 3000 cashback will be credited in your account. The company has not cleared the type of account but we are guessing it could be in the form of some kind of services only. Not the bank accounts for sure.
BSNL recently also revised its broadband plans to offers faster speeds and increased FUP limits. The Rs 249 plan has been revamped to offer a 5 Mbps connection until 15GB instead of 5GB FUP limit. The BSNL Rs 499 plan now offers 8 Mbps speeds until 25GB. The BSNL Rs 545 broadband plan offers 30GB of data per month. All the three plans offers a speed of 1Mbps once the FUP limit is reached.
BSNL has increased the FUP limit for Rs 675, Rs 795, Rs 845, Rs 949, and Rs 999 broadband plans. The BSNL Rs 675 plan now offers 35GB of data at 10 Mbps speeds. The Rs 795 plan's FUP has also been increased to 45GB. The Rs 845 plan now has new 50GB FUP limit. The BSNL Rs 949 plan subscribers can avail data up to FUP 70GB per month. Last but not the least, the Rs 999 plan now comes with a monthly FUP of 70GB. All these five plans offer 2Mbps speed once the FUP limit is reached.
