Taking on Reliance Jio, state-run telecom service provider, BSNL has
launched a new offer for its prepaid subscribers, under which it’s
giving 2.2GB additional daily data on top of the existing prepaid plan’s
benefit. BSNL has come up with this offer on the occasion of the
upcoming festive season.
A total of ten BSNL prepaid plans are eligible under this offer, split for new users who’re joining the network now and the offer is even valid for existing prepaid users. As part of this offer, BSNL’s Rs 666 plan aka BSNL Sixer prepaid plan now offers a whopping 3.7GB data every day for a period of 129 days, which means the plans ships with a total of 477.3GB of 2G/3G data. There are nine more plans which offer extra data benefit during this offer period.
BSNL Bumper Offer on Unlimited Prepaid Plan Vouchers
Aforesaid, this Bumper Offer is applicable on Unlimited Plan Vouchers of Rs 186, Rs 429, Rs 485, Rs 666 and Rs 999. All these tariff plans offer unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit to any network across the country, except for mobile numbers in Mumbai and Delhi. However, the data benefit and validity of the plans differ. The Rs 186 prepaid plan gives 1GB data per day for 28 days; Rs 429 plan offers 1GB daily data for 81 days; the Rs 485 prepaid plan delivers 1.5GB data per day for 90 days. The Rs 666 prepaid plan comes with a benefit of 1.5GB data per day for the first 129 days and lastly, the Rs 999 plan gives 1GB data per day with an after FUP speed of 40 Kbps for the first 181 days.
Under this Bumper Offer, all these prepaid plans now offer 2.2GB additional data on top of the benefit mentioned above. But the validity of the plans will remain the same. The Rs 186 plan under this offer gives a total data benefit of 3.2GB per day for 28 days. The Rs 666 prepaid plan, as part of this offer, comes with 3.7GB data per day for a period of 129 days.

The Extra Data offer, which the telco introduced on August 17, 2018, will end on September 15, 2018, which is the reason why the telco is starting this offer on September 16, 2018. Already, the telco is running an Extra Data Offer of 2GB on these STVs, but the new Bumper Offer will offer slightly better data benefit compared to the earlier offer.
