BSNL jumps into data and validity revision game, update its prepaid plans

State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced a new ‘Happy Offer’ for its prepaid customers across India. The telecom operator is offering either 43 percent of extra validity or 50 percent additional data.


The company revised six tariff plans including Rs 186, Rs 187, Rs 349, Rs 429, Rs 485 and Rs 666. To start with the Rs 186 and Rs 187 plans, both of them now offers unlimited voice calls along with 1GB of data per day over a period of 28 days.

The Rs 349 and Rs 429 plans now offer unlimited voice calls (local + STD) and roaming calls along with 1GB data per day and 100 SMS per day. The former comes with a validity of 54 days, while the latter comes with 81 days of validity. The Rs 485 and Rs 666 plans offer 1.5GB of data per day along with above-mentioned benefits. Further, Rs 485 pack comes with a validity of 90 days, while the Rs 666 pack comes with a validity of 129 days.


Previously, the state-run telecom operator announced a new plan for smartphone users. The plan is launched under its GSM mobile services and will come into effect from January 5.
