रविशंकर प्रसाद का निर्देश, कहा वीआरएस-संपत्ति बिक्री में तेजी लाए MTNL-BSNL

सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की दूरसंचार कंपनियों बीएसएनएल और एमटीएनएल को भारी-भरकम बेलआउट पैकेज देने के बाद केंद्रीय मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद ने दोनों कंपनियों से वीआरएस और मुद्रीकरण योजना में तेजी लाने को कहा है। साथ ही उन्होंने दूरसंचार क्षेत्र में अधिक आक्रामक तरीके से काम करने का भी निर्देश दिया है।

NewDelhi : सरकारी टेलीकॉम कंपनी भारत संचार निगम लिमिटेड (BSNL) घाटे में चल रही है. BSNL कर्मचारियों को अक्टूबर की सैलरी नहीं मिली है. खबर है कि 80,000 कर्मचारियों के स्वैच्छिक रिटायरमेंट स्कीम (वीआरएस) का विकल्प चुनने की उम्मीद है. इससे कंपनी को लगभग 7,500 करोड़ रुपए की बचत होगी.

टेलिकॉम मिनिस्टर रविशंकर प्रसाद ने BSNL और MTNL को निर्देश दिया है कि वे स्वैच्छिक सेवानिवृत्ति (VRS) को लेकर दिशानिर्देशों को जल्द लागू करें और समयबद्ध तरीके से एसेट्स को बेचने के लिए सक्रिय कदम उठाएं. प्रसाद ने विभागीय अधिकारियों से साफ तौर पर कहा है कि उन्हें टेलिकॉम मार्केट में और ज्यादा अग्रेसिव बनना होगा.

BSNL में आज से स्वैच्छिक सेवानिवृत्ति स्कीम हुई लागू

सरकारी कंपनी भारत संचार निगम लिमिटेड अर्थात बीएसएनएल में आज से स्वैच्छिक सेवानिवृत्ति स्कीम (वीआरएस) लागू होगी, जो अगले 30 दिन तक मान्य होगी । वित्तीय संकट बढ़ जानें के कारण कंपनी नें 50 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के कर्मचारियों को रिटायर करने की योजना बनाई है। बीएसएनएल की हालत इतनी खराब है, कि वह अपने कर्मचारियों को अक्टूबर माह का वेतन तक नहीं दे पाई है।
