Telecom Commission asks DoT to review its stance on BSNL’s 900 MHz spectrum issue
The Telecom Commission has directed the Department of
Telecommunications (DoT) to review its stance on taking back spectrum in
the 900 MHz band from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). The
commission has also asked the telecom department to give its
recommendations on the matter.

बीएसएनएल का 1411 करोड़ रुपए का सरकारी ऋण माफ
भारत संचार निगम लिमिटेड (बीएसएनएल) के वित्तीय संकट को दूर करने और
उसके पुनरुद्धार के लिए उसके 1411 करोड़ रूपये के सरकारी ऋण को माफ कर दिया
गया है।
संचार और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद ने आज राज्यसभा को बताया कि बीएसएनएल के 1411 करोड़ रुपये के सरकारी ऋण को माफ करने के साथ-साथ 6 सेवा क्षेत्रों में ब्रॉडबैंड वायरलेस अभिगम (बीडब्ल्यूए) स्पेक्ट्रम की वापसी पर उसे 6724.51 करोड़ रूपये की वित्तीय सहायता भी दी गई है।
