BSNL issues 65 SIM cards in one name

How many cell phone Subscriber Identity Module or SIM cards can be purchased by a subscriber from a given mobile operator company?

An unusual question this but it is being raised rather vehemently in Adilabad district after discovery of a subscriber from Ichoda being issued as many as 65 SIM cards on his name by the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).

Number of call drops dip as telecom operators add 46,000 towers

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) is back on track for recovery with Rs 672-crore operating profit in 2014-15, and is likely to report the first net profit in the last nine years within 2018, communications minister Ravi Shankar Prasad told HT.
The company’s income from services grew 4.16% to 27,242 crore in 2014-15, the highest in the last five years.
