BSNL ordered to pay Rs 40000 to senior citizen

BSNL stated that the principal office of BSNL, Panaji, is not joined as party to the present
proceedings and therefore the complaint is not maintainable. While the complainant provided data of 11 complaints made, BSNL stated only four complaints were received. BSNL stated that it attended to whatever complaints were received and added that BSNL gave rebate amounting to Rs 177 to the complainant from October 1 till October 31. It stated that cable and drop wires were provided to BSNL staff and that necessary staff as per set guidelines have been provided to its Pernem office. “BSNL has not even been maintaining records of complaints made by the complainant.
