Another Modi magic: After Air India and BSNL, now IRCTC is clocking huge profits!

The political debate about an alleged intolerance in the country may not end any time soon if Modi effect keeps on bringing positive results in the functioning of public sector ventures like never before. On top of every single allegation that has been
made against the government by opposition parties, the fact remains open to see that the NDA-rule is changing the fate of Indian public sector companies whereas those companies which were registering huge losses in the past have started to clock huge profits ever since the NDA-rule begun.
What is that thing which happened in last one and a half year which never happened in India before? Every other public sector company of India is now claiming huge profits.
Air India showed signs of improvement in the Modi regime and bagged a 2070-croreprofit.  Then, it was the turn of BSNL that clinched a profit of 672-crore. Before this BSNL was a doomed organization.
And now it is the turn of IRCTC and it clocked Rs. 130-Crore profit and a 20,000-Crore plus revenue as the single largest e-tail platform of the country, which is almost double to the revenue of e-commerce giant flipkart. In terms of increment from previous year’s performance the stats are satisfactory as they bagged 34% rise in the sales this year. Now, IRCTC is capable of handling 7200 tickets per minute which earlier was just 2000.
