BSNL launches ‘Data Tsunami’ prepaid pack for Rs 98 with 1.5GB data per day

State-owned telecom operator BSNL recently launched its voice-only pack worth Rs 99 for its prepaid users, which provided unlimited voice calling benefits to its users. Now, the brand has come out with a new plan worth Rs 98 called Data Tsunami. As the name suggests, this monthly prepaid pack is intended for heavy Internet users and comes with impressive data benefits.

For the sake of clarification, the Data Tsunami pack is a data-only pack and doesn’t offer any voice or SMS benefits. The new monthly prepaid pack comes with a validity period of 26 days. For the duration of the validity, the users will be entitled to 1.5GB of data per day, which brings the total data benefit to 39GB for the pack. Notably, this is one of the most affordable plans at the moment in India with 1GB of data costing just Rs 1.5. In comparison, Reliance Jio is also offering 1GB of data for Rs 1.5 with its Rs 149 plan but the validity for the same is capped at 28 days.

The new Data Tsunami pack from the telecom operator is valid in all circles across the country where BSNL is offering its services. However, do keep in mind that BSNL is still offering 3G connectivity, whereas the competition is offering high-speed 4G network.
