BSNL Singlehandedly Winning the Wired Broadband Sector

 Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the public telecom company, has been going all out with hands outstretched to ramp up its prepaid plans, ship tons of offers, and attract new customers onboard its network. However, due to the lack of the 4G network, its efforts have been mostly in vain. But, that does not mean that BSNL is losing the battle on every front. The public telecom company has been doing exceptionally well in the wireline segment, or the wired broadband sector. We base this on the back of the latest subscriber report put out by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), which has noted that BSNL was the only telecom operator to add more than 10 lakh wireline subscribers to its network in the month of May 2021.

The company has waived off the installation charge for all users; however, this is a limited-time offer and will be available for only 90 days.  New Delhi: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced a new offer under which it will provide 100GB of data only for Rs 299.

The new plan of Rs 299 is only for new customers and the existing customer will not be able to avail of it. New customers will be able to take advantage of the Rs 299 broadband plan for up to six months. It will provide 100GB of data at 10 Mbps speed and once you exhaust the data limit the speed will drop down to 2Mbps.

BSNL LoI given to 5 local telecom firms for participation in 4G tender: MoS Telecom

 State-run telecom firm BSNL has issued a letter of intent to five domestic telecom equipment companies for participation in its proposed tender for 4G services, Parliament was informed on Wednesday. According to a BSNL notice issued in January, the company had proposed to test the quality of Indian telecom equipment before letting them participate in the 4G tender to be floated by the company.

 Government-owned telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) introduced a prepaid plan priced at Rs 398 that offers unlimited data with no speed restriction. The plan is popular because it has a validity of 30 days, something which private telcos are now trying to achieve with the introduction of new plans with 30 days and 60 days validity. The plan also offers unlimited calls along with unlimited data. Airtel, Jio and Vi do offer prepaid plans at a similar price point with 3GB daily data and unlimited calls.
