BSNL's FY loss widens to INR 79.92 billion
Indian state-owned operator BSNL reports that its annual loss widened to
INR 79.92 billion for the fiscal year ended March 2018. BSNL posted a
loss of INR 47.93 billion in 2016/17, The Economic Times reports. BSNL's
share on the Indian broadband segment declined to 10 percent in March
2018 from 19 percent in the same period of 2018.

secure six of their demands from the central government. In a statement
dated 13th December 2018, the All Unions and Associations of BSNL (AUAB)
revealed that following six decisions were made in a meeting with the
Department of Telecom (DoT) officials and Minister of State for
Telecommunication Manoj Sinha.

Despite delay in spectrum allotment, the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited
(BSNL) is gearing up to launch 4G services in the country. The telcom
firm, which has already accomplished soft launch earlier this year, is
