The
Representative Association of Executives (RAEB) in BSNL has opposed the
privatization of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), as per reports
available to Bureaucracy Today. The decision was opposed in the State
Circle Meeting of RAEB Andhra Pradesh.

All India General Secretary K Sebastian demanded that the government
withdraw the proposals for handing over the towers to private
companies.
“We
will launch a two-day strike on December 12 and 13 by staging a protest
against the Central government’s proposal against splitting of BSNL
into separate wings. We will launch agitations with all the employee
unions of 250 PSUs under the aegis of All India National Confederation
of Officers’ Association (AINCOA),” he explained.
