MUMBAI:
While all major telecom operators have already gained highly from 4G
roll-out, state-owned operators BSNL and MTNL have been left behind in
the race due to impending 4G spectrum. Survival of both the companies
highly depends on 4G services roll-out. However, according to a PTI
report, department of telecom (DoT) is planning to seek the Cabinet's
approval in the next two months for the allocation of 4G spectrum to
these two firms.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), which earlier
today announced its tie-up with Amazon has now revealed its plans for a
potential tie-up with leading content aggregator Netflix. V Sundar, BSNL
Telangana Telecom Circle Chief General Manager has confirmed this news
to reporters at PTI, but he did not reveal what the tie-up will

In a bid to take on its rivals Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is providing free subscription of Amazon
Prime for the next one year to their postpaid and broadband customers.
BSNL announcing their partnership with Amazon on Monday said that it
